30-year-old Rohingya man Mohammed Selim (30) was killed in a gunfight between two groups of robbers in Teknaf Upazila of Cox’s Bazar, said police. He used to live in Noapara Rohingya camp. According to Abdul Halim, OC of Teknaf Model Police Station, three unidentified people rushed Selim to Kutupalong MSF Hospital in Ukhiya and fled after doctors declared him dead. Quoting Teknaf police sources The Daily Star reported that Selim was a member of a Rohingya robber gang. The “gunfight” took place between Nabi Hossen and Munna groups near Totardia border in the Whykong union, added the sources.
