Valiant freedom fighter. He was honoured with Bir Bikram, the third highest gallantry award in Bangladesh, for his bravery in the Bangladesh Liberation War. In his professional life, he worked in different capacities at the signal department of Bangladesh Rifles, now named Border Guard Bangladesh.
